Bird flu prevention zones declared across England.

The UK Chief Veterinary Officer has ordered a new Avian Influenza Prevention Zone to cover the whole of England from noon on Saturday 25th of January following the escalating number of cases of avian influenza and continued heightened risk levels in wild birds.

All bird keepers are being urged to follow strict biosecurity measures to help protect their flocks including restricting access for non-essential people and disinfecting on a regular basis.
