Happy Tuesday!
I have some well overdue news to share and now I’ve settled in Kent a little better I thought what better time than now. 🥰

In March I entered an International Online Dog Grooming competition with my girl Fia.
This is my third time competing, but first ever online competition.
I wanted to enjoy competing but in a more relaxed environment in the comfort of my own Salon.✨
Through entering this competition I didn’t have any expectations other than to get some feedback on full body hand sc******ng that I am new to doing.
I want to say a huge well done to everyone who entered Kys Big Spring Groom Out. 🌼

I was absolutely blown away when results day came around…
🥇We placed 1st in our Class
🏅We received Top Dog for all Mixed Breed Classed
🏆And we received Best in Competition
(It’s safe to say I cried my eyes out🥺)
This was the best Birthday weekend ever!
I am still in complete shock and overwhelmed with these achievements and still in disbelief that I was awarded anything. 🏵️

In the grooming industry we can all be our own worst critics, I still continue to pick apart the grooms I do and wonder if they’re good enough.
However we are all on our own journeys constantly growing and learning. 🐾

I want to use this post to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped me get to this point in my career, groomers ,friends and family who have helped me learn and grow. ✂️
A special thanks, and recognition to my partner danmccaffrey who continues to be my biggest cheerleader! ❤️

IMPORTANT NOTICE, PLEASE READ!
To all my lovely clients and your beautiful fur babies, this is such an emotional and difficult post for me to write, but it’s very important news that I need to share ❤️

I have made the incredibly tough decision to close my books and significantly downsize my grooming diary, as I will be moving away on the26th of April.
I will be reducing my working days from full time, to just a few days each month.
These changes are happening as I prepare for an exciting new chapter in my life, relocating to Kent.

Because of my move, this means I will have to make some very tough decisions and won’t be able to continue grooming all of my wonderful clients.
For those I’m unfortunately no longer able to accommodate, I will of course do everything I can to help you find a new groomer, best suited to your dogs needs.
Their happiness and comfort will always come first for me.
Please know this has absolutely nothing to do with you or your precious pooches.
If I could keep you all, I truly would.

In the coming weeks, I will be discussing ongoing appointments with you all individually.
Please bear with me while I navigate this big change, and work through my current messages, and the enquiries that will likely follow this post. I promise I will respond as soon as I can.

Over the past year, you and your pups have become so much more than clients to me.
I have built such special relationships with so many of you that I will carry in my heart forever. From the bottom of my heart, I’d like thank you for trusting me with your beautiful dogs and for supporting my business.
It has truly been one of the best experiences of my life.

🐾 Measure your dog before you come (neck + chest + back length)
🐾 Bring water, snacks + comfy shoes, it’s a long day 👟
🐾 Map out and keep note of your fave brands + stands before you arrive 🗺️
🐾 Visit early for best stock + quieter fitting time

Crufts is BIG and busy, but the Pink Pups stand is the cutest little pink corner 💖🎀

I’m happy with how she turned out, we did an extended Mini-Groom but still lots more room for improvement 🐾
