As we prepare for our upcoming refurbishment, we kindly ask clients to 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 to help ensure a smooth transition.

⏳ The countdown is on! One week today the refurbishment will commence!⌛️

We will be undergoing essential refurbishment work in our reception area for 3 weeks starting Monday 18th August.

‼️ There will also be some disruption to the Friday the 15th August.

Please be aware that the car park will be busy throughout the day and there may be some loud noises.

To keep everyone safe and allow work to proceed smoothly, please note the following temporary changes:

• Limited Appointments- will be available during this period
• Car park spaces will be reduced
• Waiting room will be closed — clients will be asked to wait in their cars
• Staff members will be outside to assist you
• Operations will be kept to a minimum

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we make these important improvements to the practice. 🌟

Please be aware there is a lot of traffic on the Birmingham road going towards the Bishopton roundabout.

Please allow plenty of time for your appointments this afternoon and we would appreciate if you could keep us informed if you are running late ⏰

We are currently in attendance on the A46 Bishopton roundabout near Stratford, following an overturned lorry.

This is on the island with the A3400 and Birmingham Road.

We would advise motorists to please take an alternative route.

🐇 🪰 Rabbits & Fly strike 🐇 🪰

What is fly strike?

Fly strike is a condition caused by flies laying eggs on fur, which then hatch into maggots that burrow under their skin and feed on flesh. It can occur and escalate very quickly, and can be fatal if left untreated.

Some rabbits are at a higher risk to getting fly strike than others, some factors below include:

* Time of year - fly strike is more common in the warm, summer months when flies are most active
* Dirty bottoms - dirty, damp fur is the perfect place for flies to lay their eggs.
* Wounds - flies are attracted to wounds and will choose to lay their eggs around them.
* Overweight rabbits- struggle to clean themselves.

Rearguard works by preventing flies landing onto the rabbits fur and then prevents any eggs laid by flies developing.

We have 3 Rearguard bottles left and we are offering these at half price due to short shelf life.

Last week Dylan came in to be castrated. He came in with his very own personalised goodie bag including his own food, and inflatable collar.

He was a very good boy throughout the day and came back this morning for a post op check, ahead of his sutures to be removed next week 🐶

We all absolutely loved his bag! 🐾
