What an incredible weekend at the Junior Home International Tetrathlon 🇬🇧🐎🏃♀️🏊♀️🎯
As always, Tetrathlon is a rollercoaster of emotions, and this weekend certainly had its highs and lows! The notoriously tough cross-country course certainly raised its challenges again this year, but that’s all part of the sport and we can’t wait to come back and tackle it again next year.
Jaz came away with a PB run and a PB swim, showing just how much her hard work and training are paying off. Sport doesn’t always reward effort on the day, but seeing her continue to improve, and under competition pressure is incredible to see.
One of the best things about Pony Club is that it’s about so much more than the scores. The friendships, the laughter, the team spirit and the support from everyone involved make these experiences so special. It was wonderful to be part of such a supportive Central England team and to watch the competitors cheer each other on throughout the weekend.
The fun evening show piece was another highlight, with our brilliant Peaky Blinders team taking 3rd place! 🎩🚬✨ A lot of remote planning went into the performance and it was fantastic to see everyone pull it all together on the night and have so much fun together.
A huge thank you to our amazing Central England Team Manager, Katie May, who somehow manages to keep everything running smoothly and helps us navigate a busy championship weekend with remarkably little drama! Your organisation, support and calm guidance are hugely appreciated by competitors and parents alike.
Thank you also to all the volunteers, organisers and supporters who make opportunities like this possible.
Now for a well-earned rest before we start looking ahead to Mini Internationals and Area Qualifiers!
💙💛
