📸 Group walks are about so much more than exercise. 🐾

They’re a chance for dogs to socialise, build confidence, and learn how to coexist with others.

Some dogs spend the walk playing together, while others would rather sniff every blade of grass or quietly explore on their own—and that’s absolutely okay.

Socialisation isn’t about every dog becoming best friends. It’s about learning to be comfortable around other dogs, making good choices, and enjoying the world together.

Every dog gets to be themselves, and that’s exactly how we like it. ❤️

I only started recording after they’d already chased each other at least five times 🤭

One of the biggest misconceptions about reactive dogs is that they just need to learn more commands.

The reality is, many reactive dogs already know plenty of cues. They can sit, stay, lie down, recall, heel… and they can be brilliant at all of them.

But the moment they spot another dog, everything changes.

You can ask for eye contact, call them back to your side, scatter food on the ground, or run through every cue they know—but if they aren’t in the right state of mind, those things often won’t be enough.

Progress doesn’t come from endlessly adding more commands. It comes from clear communication and the way you guide your dog through situations.

Your dog needs to understand what “yes” means, what “no” means, and that you’re there to help them make better decisions—not to control every move they make.

The tools you use on walks, your timing, your consistency, and your communication are what build trust. We want dogs that can think, make good choices, and look to us for guidance when they need it.

That’s where real change happens.
