I am well trusted, and what an honour it is to be able to say that. I take great care with every pet I am responsible for and I am always respectful in my client’s homes. I give the pets love and attention like they’re my own ❤️ and especially with my regulars it sometimes feels like they are! We have special relationships, they know they can trust me and that I will care for them until their humans are back with them again.

If you’re looking for holiday care, send over a message. I have some spaces for booking in July and August that are usually unavailable due to folks’ schedules changing over the school holidays. (Humans are home with their pets when they’re usually out).

For dogs I can do sitting for up to 3 hours, or I do home visits and walks throughout the day. I do 1-1 care, always one household’s pets at a time.

For cats and smaller pets usually one or two visits per day.

I always offer a first visit free of charge, to be introduced to yourself and your pets, for you to tell me all about them and for them to get to know me too. 😁

Mycroft always runs in front of my car on the driveway when I arrive, so today I opened the door and lifted him in so I could pull forwards safely 😂 he always gets into my car anyway. Funny boy!

Everyone was too hot, everyone was feeling lazy and grateful for their dinners 🍽️🍓🌱🐾
The whippet crew and tortoises had their dinner al fresco, very summery 😁
Daisy and Speedy were muddy from their adventures in the garden after all of the rain yesterday! ⛈️

Help wildlife in hot weather! ☀️ Keep your watering stations, ponds and bird baths topped up with water, and let some of your garden grow wild to provide shade for animals. Watering plants in the early morning or late evening can help reduce water evaporation. Log piles, beetle buckets and bug mansions all provide a cool refuge on a sunny day!

Into week 2 with broken car, decided to embrace a speedier form of personal transportation than my two sore feet, 🚲
Ironically, didn’t realise til I was on the bike, that you can forget how to ride a bike. Did it anyway, didn’t fall off. 10/10.
Off to my visit to Barney, check out his 80’s crimp! We had a very short grassy walk and then hung out with Harry in the shade of the garden, in between a little bit of football, then more lying down and drinking/swimming in the water bowl. 💦 🐾

🐾 This week so far 🐾
Winnie, Wilma and Walter, Dexter, Charlie, Pug and Taco, Hamber and Choco and Cindy and Sprout. And a wasp beetle I saw at meon vale today!

The weather has been hot but we’ve shifted timings to keep everyone cool enough and swapped to home visits if necessary. I need to take as much care with myself in the heat as I do with the doggies! *must remember suncream tomorrow*

I noticed a few residents have popped dog bowls with water outside their homes, wouldn’t it be great if more people did this? 💦 🥵

☀️ a lovely week ☀️
Sticking mostly to the shady areas, or walking in the cooler times of the day. Lots of water 💦 for all of the furry friends. We also have a plan to adjust walk times or swap to home visits as temperatures rise.

So grateful to my lovely clients for their flexibility this week and for being able to work in a way that lets me juggle caring responsibilities within my family also. I have met so many kind and friendly people in my community through my work and it’s just the best! ❤️

Not to mention all of my small friends 🐾 I genuinely look forward to seeing them all. It’s a pleasure! Enjoy these pics of my little (and big!) pals -

NEUTERING. I see some posts in local FB sites about cats that really worry me. In particular when kittens are born and mum is not feeding their kittens what should they do. I've even seen advice about giving them the milk you can buy in supermarkets which has no nutritional value at all. If you have a cat that is not neutered please speak to us and we can offer you a discounted voucher towards the cost of neutering. Also we have a very friendly, expert hand rearer who can give you the right advice. Please do not ask for advice from FB. Ask us. We will only be too pleased to help the kittens.
