Have you heard? We will be building an on-site hatchery to help restore and protect the endangered white-clawed crayfish population! 🦞

The white-clawed crayfish is the UK’s only native freshwater crayfish which has declining population numbers in the wild due to habitat loss, pollution, crayfish plague and competition from invasive species.

This week we were awarded a grant from the Government’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund, allowing us to join the efforts to save the white-clawed crayfish population from local extinction.
