It is with much regret that we have to inform you that Suffolk Sausage Stays will be closing in 2026 and will therefore not take any further bookings.

When we set Suffolk Sausage Stays up we never would have thought that it would have been so successful so quick. Through the business we have met some lovely people and some beautiful dogs that we have throughly enjoyed looking after.

Unfortunately we are spending an increasing amount of time looking after elderly relatives whose health is only likely to decline further. We have therefore made the decision that it would be best for us and our relatives if we moved back to Bury St Edmunds to be closer to them.

I would like to re-assure you that if you that any bookings that you already have confirmed with a deposit paid will be honoured. That said, if you would like to cancel any booking so that you can start settling you dog into a new boarding home then we will of course provide a full refund.

If you are looking for alternative boarding for your dog I would highly recommend Michelle at Barking Manor at Hepworth. This is where our dogs go for their holidays and we have always been very happy with how they are looked after.

It has been an absolute pleasure to meet you and your dogs and I’m truly sorry that we can’t continue our business but I hope you understand why.

It’s been all Girl Power at Suffolk Sausage Stays recently. First to join us was Frankie who is chocolate very similar to our resident Snooy. They were then joined by Mabel and puppy Mary.

The arrival pictures were all so innocent and calm.

It didn’t take long for all to become besties and play like only sausages do!!

Eventually they wore themselves out and it ended with cuddles on the sofa.

Today we took our dogs and our guest, the wonderfully handsome wire haired Archie, for a walk at The walks there are fantastic, there are short walks, long walks and everything in between. Of course the best part of any walk is the reward and both the dogs and I love which is a great charity we love to support. The cafe there is awesome and VERY sausage dog friendly with amazing home made cakes and biscuits for the dogs.
