Thankyou to Sharon Shazzabruno Pryke for all the hard work and planning she’s put into her table at Elmsfest this year. Herself, Matt, Megan and Remi raised £122.80 yesterday which will be a massive help in feeding everyone here at the moment. Thankyou so much ❤️

Unfortunately we are now closed again. I have surgery coming up next week and I need to be clear of babies. Birds currently in will be cared for by my amazing volunteers and I do have quite a few here still receiving treatment/wilding ready for release etc but I cannot take in anymore from now. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

3 ickle babies ♥️ names welcome as I have well and truely run out of ideas 😆 these have come in sporadically over the past few days. We are full again but working on the door for the other new aviary today so hopefully will have some empty cages again soon.

Another release today of woody woodpecker. If you watch after he initially flys out the carrier he goes straight for a tree trunk. He was so diddy when he came in. After hand rearing him and wilding him up he knew exactly what to do. Thankyou Amanda and Nevaeh for taking him for his release ❤️

The Patridges were released last week, only just got round to uploading the video. They went to private land of an apple farm. Acres and acres of orchard to roam and plenty of leafs, insects and apples to eat. Thankyou to Raven and Emma for driving them there ❤️

Since reopening we have taken on quite alot of birds, mainly young wood pigeons but a few others too including blackbirds, and an adult white throat. Wasn’t long before we ended up refilling all the isolation cages with new residents. Another young woodie in tonight too. Wouldn’t have it any other way though.

Smaller aviary complete! 🙌 with a door and made better with the sign that a good friend has made for me. There are 6 in total. All with different names ❤️ now for 2 more doors and to further water proof the storage area as we sprung a leak 🤣 nearly there though.
