Well, that’s wrap for the 2026 Bacton Fayre and, as the weekend draws to a close, we’d simply like to say thank you!
Bacton Fayre has been part of our village for well over a century. Our traditional village flower show has grown into an event that welcomes hundreds of visitors, showcases local talent, celebrates our rural heritage, and brings our community together for one special day each year. None of that happens by accident.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to the small band of volunteers who give up countless hours both on the day and throughout the year. Planning and delivering an event of this size takes an enormous amount of work, and we couldn’t do it without every single person who lends a hand.
Thank you too to everyone who entered the competitions, ran a stall, exhibited a vintage vehicle, entertained us, kept us refreshed, sponsored the event, or otherwise contributed in some way. You are what gives Bacton Fayre its character and makes it feel unmistakably ‘our Fayre’.
And to everyone who came along. Whether you’re new to the village, a lifelong resident, a former villager returning home, or someone just visiting - thank you for spending the day with us. Community events only thrive when people come together, and seeing the field full of families, friends and neighbours enjoying themselves is what makes the hard work worthwhile.
The Bacton Fayre and Flower Show celebrates the spirit of our village, our farming roots, and the importance of community. In a world that seems to be changing so quickly those things matter; possibly more than ever before.
As many of you know, the future of the Fayre is currently uncertain. But, whatever happens next, we hope that this year’s event has reminded us all why traditions like this are worth cherishing and why communities are strongest when people come together with a shared purpose.
From all of us on the Bacton Fayre Committee, thank you for being part of another wonderful Fayre. We hope you had a fantastic day, and we wish you all the very best.
