Sweet little Rodney visited today, he was rather partial to the salami to say the least, he did very well for his first groom with a new groomer after his regular groomer stopped grooming. He is amazingly 12 years old!!

My dear little friend Amber visited today, a nice Raspberry bath and a shorter than usual trim, she did so well. I do feel for the dogs at the moment, going to the groomer is often not their absolute favourite thing, but when the groomer is wearing a funny thing on her face it is a bit more worrying!

Mucky Pups are opening their doors from Monday 8th June.
Appointments will be limited to enable thorough cleansing of the salon and equipment after every groom.
DEFRA guidelines will be followed as closely as possible, including dogs being bathed on arrival, unfortunately this can cause matting to become tighter and may in some instances result in a shorter cut than might be preferred. This will be discussed upon inspection of the dog.
I will be wearing fresh uniform for every groom and a facemask for the entire groom. I would appreciate clients doing the same please.
IF I become aware that I have been exposed to Covid-19, I will cancel relevant grooms immediately and reschedule for 2 weeks later. Again, I would be grateful for clients to do the same.
WE look forward to seeing our lovely friends. xx

Today little Otto visited for his very first puppy groom ..he had rather a lot of hair....but his mum brushes him religiously and his coat was in amazing condition, he was a tiny bit wiggly, which we expected, but he LOVES salami and that helped. He did very well.x

Sometimes I take photos and they don't work, as in when the dog suddenly moves, or I cant get a good angle, but I was lucky with young Daisy here, such a sweet little Schnoodle..she has me wrapped around her paw!!

My dear little Poppy visited today, she was SUCH a good girl today, we even managed her legs without the calming cradle, I was VERY proud of her! Yes, she is staring at a piece of salami!!

A new boy Bonzo popped along for a bath and bit of a de shed. He managed some incredible manoeuvres in the bath. How on earth I have no idea!! He has a definite liking for salami, he did approve of that!!

My gorgeous friend Toby popped along today for a bit of a bath and tidy up...not to mention salami!! He has had surgery on his knee, which we need to be careful with, so he no longer uses the bath, just in case!! I made a special decked area for dogs that I need to be especially careful with, here he is using it. He slept through the rest of the groom as usual!!🤣
