☀️⚠️K9000 TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO HIGH TEMPERATURES⚠️☀️

We've just checked the temperature inside the K9000 conservatory and as of now (10.30am) the temperature in there has already reached 37 degrees--we do not deem it safe for dogs to be in there for now so we are temporarily closing it.

Temperatures aren't due to drop for a few days but we will continue to monitor it and notify you when it's available again, thank you🙏

✈️🐟Madre de Dios Diaries Day 8 FINAL DAY OF FISHING🐟✈️

"Day 8 our final day of collecting we travelled 26km out of Puerto Maldonado towards Brazil, then turned off the highway for another 14km to arrive at the collecting spots. This was deep forest with a kaleidoscope of many hundreds of butterflies around our fishing spots and rich in jungle sounds, Macaws squawking, parrotlets and mochilero (oropendola--Jungle Turkey). Fishing was good and we got plenty of tetras, Apistogramma and a few cats including helogenes and big hoplosternums. Ian is still under the weather and waiting patiently back at the aquarium to see and photograph what we returned with, but here are a few photos from today.

"Day 7 we fished the Lower Loboyo River 9km from PM on the Brazil Road. This is a small meandering lowland river. We fished two locations and caught a good variety of fish."
