Just a reminder that our Gatley's stores will be closed on the Bank Holiday Monday 25th August 2025, apart from our Pet & Aquatics store in Liss, Hampshire.

All other opening hours remain as usual for each store that weekend (please see full list below).

Gatley’s Country Store & Pet Shops are currently looking for a friendly and outgoing Part-Time Sales Assistant to join the Gatley's team at our Horsham store (Handcross Road, Plummers Plain, Horsham RH13 6NX).

Full training will be provided, but any previous retail experience would be appreciated. The role will include but is not limited to;

🟡 General duties relating to serving customers in our store.
🟡 Helping customers select the right products and offering advice.
🟡 Maintaining our high levels of customer service and care.
🟡 Answering telephone enquiries.
🟡 Tidying up the store/stock room and restocking and merchandising.
🟡 You will be required on a regular basis to help load customer orders from our yard to their vehicle – this requires heavy lifting.

Do you have saddles, bridles or any leather items that need repairing? If so we can help! Our leather repair workshop is open this **Friday 25th July 2025** at our Gatley’s store in Barns Farm Lane (Sullington) and you are welcome to drop any repairs in and leave them with us if that's convenient for you or we can make you an appointment for Friday.

All you need to do is send a message here (or email [email protected]) with a photo of the item/repair.

If needed we can also provide an estimate on how much the repair would be.

Most repairs can be carried out the same day, but it depends on what is involved.

Alternatively, please call us during opening hours on 01903 742414 and we can answer any questions you may have or pop in to our Sullington store and speak to one of the team 👍
