Today, I have ordered my tea from The Fox and goose in Foxt, Staffordshire.
..Why? 🤔

❌️Unfortunately, Foxt Bank, just past Hetty's Tea Shop is currently closed for road works and repairs.

✅️Hetty's Tea Shop is still accessible from the A52. ✅️

Please do not feel that you cannot get to the The Fox & Goose, Foxt...

✅️ The pub is accessible via Whiston Village; By accessing the lane; "Shaw-Wall Lane". ✅️

☀️It only takes 5-10mins to divert around the road closure, to the top end of the village.☀️

💛Just because it says "Road Closed", I urge you to make the effort to support both businesses.

Unfortunately, The "road closures" signs alone do have a HUGE impact on the businesses and the small wage the management take. It is there livelihood, their passion and their joy to bring the community a product & Service. It can be hard for them, even without "road closures" signs.

💚I am on a Overnight Pet Sitting. I wished to support the Fox & Goose by simply ordering a takeaway tea and having a beverage, whilst I waited.

It was so lovely to meet the old customers I used to serve and children I used to care for. Everyone in this community are incredibly welcoming and the pub provides such a warming and welcoming atmosphere. The pub is certainly the HUB. 💚
