Pet insurance or a preventative healthcare plan?

Pet insurance can cover unexpected accidents or illnesses which may come your pets way. Preventative healthcare schemes focus on keeping your pet healthy and protected on an everyday basis. For example, covering their vaccinations, parasite control and health checks.

On World Chocolate Day, it's sensible to keep in mind that chocolate is poisonous to our canine friends.

Try to keep chocolate out of reach of your dog, but if an accident does happen, these are the symptoms you should keep an eye out for.

The poison itself takes between 4 and 24 hours to cause signs which include:
🍫 Muscle stiffness
🍫 Tremors
🍫 Vomiting
🍫 Heart arrhythmias and fitting

If you see your dog has eaten chocolate or spot any of these symptoms, call your vet immediately.
