Hello lovely people thought I’d do a little Sunday heart felt post, after all it has been a while.
I hope your Sunday has been truly amazing, full of love and joy and quality time with family.
Today has been one of those days that just fills the heart. Started the morning with the Radio 6 playing in the background with a quick tidy around the home, letting the tunes ease me into the day.
Sunday roast was on the cards today ready for Dad’s arrival.
Spent some lovely quality time with Dad, my partner Rob, and of course our resident dog Bobby, who loves to go get his toys so he can proudly show them off.
Rob’s daughter Erin popped in to say hello and deliver her dad- Robs birthday present which was lovely.
Bobby our resident doggy loves coming in for a cuddle and always sits well for his treat. He is at the tail end of his holiday stay with us and oh boy we will truly miss him. Rob says he is one of his favourites. I say now Rob we can’t have any favourites they are all so special who come into our care.
Later Me and Dad had a short walk out in nature, feeding the squirrels and birds and chatting to people along the way.
Honestly, just simple moments, that make my day.
I’m starting to get myself prepared for Download Festival — camping from Wednesday right through to Monday with my niece Katie. For those who might not know, Download is a festival held at Donnington Park, that has been going a fair few year. It used to be the land used for Monsters of Rock.
The festival is the second biggest in terms of foot print of around 900 acres compared to Glastonbury 1,500 acres. So as you can imagine I will be getting the steps in. Not that I don’t already with the doggies!
A busy week ahead but today has been the perfect calm before the excitement. Feeling truly grateful and well grounded, thank you to Rob my partner who is my muse and is amazing with the dogs in our care.
A big thank you to my dad for always giving me positive encouragement to follow my dream.
I want to thank my niece Katie in advance for being super organised and I just know if I forget my tent pegs or something she will have spares to hand. She is the most organised lady that I know!
Thank you to Erin, Ky and Zeph Robs amazing kids for just being so ace and all doing brilliantly.
I am truly blessed to have so many loving kind compassionate people in my life and I feel truly grateful every single day.
I am forever grateful to my loyal clients who trust me with caring for their pets, it means so much to be able to provide a service to allow people the freedom to go away for holidays or be able to have peace of mind when they are out for the day.
Sending you all so much love and peace for today.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart Deb- Staffs Dog Tails ###xx
