👀 Take a look at Charlie our Accredited Canine Hoopers Instructor and her dog George.

Charlie took some some time out from teaching Hoopers to develop her own dogs skills by taking part in a Hoopers workshop.

George takes one little detour during his run to try and get his toy reward from our teacher but quickly returned to complete the course...cheeky George!

This was a huge achievement for Charlie and George as often George lacks confidence to work at a distance. Taking time to build and strengthen their foundations for Hoopers has seen George's confidence and independence thrive achieving the distance handling we love in Hoopers.

Here is Autumn one of our stars of the week demonstrating her forwards drive.

Autumn was reluctant to drive forwards and found very little value when rewarded with food. We switched out the food treat for a toy and the value in the reward for Autumn was amazing.

Debbie and Rudy's Hooper's journey is a pleasure to see and be part of. Communication between Debbie and Rudy strengthens week on week seeing Rudy excelling whatever sequence is put in front of him. You are a star ⭐

Karen and Autumn gained star of the week for the hard work put into Autumns forwards drive. Autumn was struggling with her forwards drive so we switched out the food reward and replaced with a toy then there was no stopping Autumn. Keep your eyes peeled for our video of Autumn not only driving away passing through every hoop but coming back to Karen picking up every hoop on her return. You are a star ⭐

It's Robyn and today Robyns talking about 💛 yellow leads for dogs 💛
Yellow leads are a visual sign that dogs need extra space.
This could be down to nervousness, recovering from illness, being rehabilitated, or simply prefer not to share their space with others.

With the high temperatures it is not safe to go for walks. Our hoopers training gives us skills we can do inside in front of the fan. George practising his left and right for his rear cross.
