Darwin's Pet Supplies Dog grooming shop based at Middleport Pottery, Harper Street Studios. She has worked within a local veterinary practice, equine stables, farm and zoo.

Owner of Darwin's Pet Supplies Emma Wilkes has acquired a vast amount of hands on experience working with animals. Emma attended Reaseheath College and gained an FdSc in Animal Management Behaviour & Welfare and a BSc (Hons) in Zoo Management. In 2021 Emma graduated in an MSc Applied Research where she specialised in how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the behaviour of dogs due to changes in th

eir owners routine. Darwin's Pet Supplies are passionate about animal care and offer a professional and friendly service to all of our customers. We are able to provide advice on nutrition, preventative treatments and behavioural issues. We provide quality pet products for your small animals, cats and dogs. As an independent local pet supplier, we are able to source, stock and order in specialist and unusual products and we pride ourselves in offering a natural pet range for both cats and dogs. Filled with lots of fun children’s activities, music and entertainment in partnership with Middleport Matters Community Trust. There will be “High Rollers” entertainment from Kitsch & Sync Collective, for one day only there is Free entry to “How we lived at Harper Street”, Gilders Wheel Gallery– Design Your Own Pencil Case and jewellery demonstration, Betty and Grace Workshop, Darwin’s Dog Grooming – Dog nail clipping for £5 instead of £8 and a free ice pop for every dog that visits (whilst stocks last), Muddy Publishing Ltd, Creative Faces Facepainting and look out for the artwork on the Harper Street walls that has been specially created by Pinc College students for this event .

Please note, that all bookings, will need to pay a £15 non refundable deposit. This will be deducted from your groom price on the day. If you need to cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, or if you don't attend the appointment, the deposit will be retained.

Who can say they have this view everyday for their lunch breaks? Middleport Pottery is such a wonderful location, with a great cafe on the canal, The Packing House is great for coffee and cake 😋. Perfect for when you’ve just dropped your dog off for a groom and have a couple of hours spare to wonder around the site.
