superior calibre, down to the last minute. I pride myself on not only caring for each animal, but treating them as if they were my own, so that with me, they always feel their boundaries are respected, they feel safe and protected always, behaviourally enriched, and beyond all, loved. I have a DBS certificate which states I have no prior criminal convictions to give you peace of mind when looking after your beloved pet(s) as well as entering your home. A certificate of this can be viewed at any time, which we hope will give our customers relief to know their possessions and animals are always in the safest of hands.
*Please feel free to enquire about seeing the certificate at the Meet & Greet or any subsequent meetings. For most of us, our Furbabies & Friends are part of our family and we would do anything for them. This qualification allows me to administer emergency and non-emergency pet first aid to any animal, under any circumstance. All animals in my care, will be treat like my own, therefore I hope this qualification will give owners further peace of mind that their furry or not so furry family is in good care with me. I carry a pet first aid kit with me in my car at all times to ensure I am prepared for any potential first aid requirements. Should I ever feel that an incident is beyond my capabilities or requires specialist attention, I will take the animal to their own vet or a vet of my own discretion if their own is not available. This will be discussed at the Meet & Greet to ensure all relevant information is relayed and the animal receives the upmost superior care.
* This certificate can be viewed at any time, please feel free to ask should you wish to view it. A picture can also be found on my photo section should you wish to view it there.*

🎄✨ Our Annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal Is Here! ✨🎄

It’s that time of year again — and we’d love your help to bring a little festive magic to the rescue cats spending Christmas with us. Some of our cats won’t have homes to go to just yet, but together we can still make their day feel special. ❤️🐾

We currently have around 32 cats who are looking at spending Christmas at the rescue. If we can collect 32 shoeboxes, that means every single one of them will wake up to a little present of their own — something cosy and comforting they can also take with them to their forever homes when their time finally comes. 🎁🐱

We also know Christmas can be an expensive time of year, so please don’t feel pressured to spend lots. Shoeboxes don’t have to be fancy! Clean sheets, pillowcases, or old blankets you no longer use are absolutely fine (as long as claws won’t get stuck). And if you’re crafty, you can even make a DIY toy — crocheted mice, pom-poms, plaited fleece strips, or simple felt kicker toys all make brilliant little gifts.

If you’d like to take part, just fill a shoebox with whatever you can spare. You can keep it general, or if you want to make your box extra personal, you’re welcome to choose a specific cat, and we’ll tell you their favourite treats and toys.

Your box can include:
• A small blanket or sheet
• A toy (store-bought or handmade)
• Some treats
• Anything cosy or useful you’d like to add

Every single box — big or small — makes such a difference. Thank you for helping us make Christmas brighter for the cats in our care. ❤️🎄🐾

If you’d like to choose a cat or have any questions, just pop us a message!

Did you know antifreeze is toxic to cats? Keep it out of reach and clean up any spills immediately. Read our full guide to understand the signs of poisoning to look out for: http://spr.ly/CatsAndAntifreeze ❄️

If you know something, please shout up. Animal cruelty NEVER has a justified reason, no matter the circumstances. Lets get these little souls some justice. ♥

Good afternoon . Update on this matter. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and provided information. We have located the people responsible for this case. The RSPCA are involved and taking their own action. Our team are currently transporting the puppies to a specialist provider in Lincolnshire, who will care for them. Thank you.

Good evening we have been contacted by a local veterinary practice this afternoon. A member of the public has found six puppies that are approximately 1 week old. There is one female and 5 male puppies in total. The puppies were allegedly found in an alleyway on Abbingdon Road shared with Myrtle Road Middlesbrough. We are working with the RSPCA to get these puppies the care they need. This incident is one of the worst cases of abandonment we have seen. We are pleading with the public to come forward with any information they may have relating to the owner/ keeper of these puppies. Please contact us in hours on 01642 726001 or email us in confidence at [email protected]

PLEASE BE AWARE!

It’s understood that some local dog owners are using a charity called “Drone to Home” in a hope they can get a drone operator to go out and search for their dog, one is currently missing from Stokesley Crescent in Billingham and this particular charity is involved.

However just a quick google can tell you about the bad experiences of these individuals… they take a donation but actually don’t leave their house. They are based in Nottingham.

Locally, we recommend ALR Photography Tees who do this completely free. No hidden charges or anything. They do this because of the love of dogs.

The other recommendable people are Lost Dog Trapping Team (Search and Rescue) CIC

Please be mindful.

Here at Furbabies & Friends Pet Services - Teesside we are heartbroken to hear of the passing of Milo. 🩵

Milo was a character full of all sorts of emotions and was certain to tell you how he felt at any given time. He loved nothing more (apart from his family) than his outside adventures on his harness where he could moan at me for not being allowed off his lead and eat all the grass he could just so he could come in and barf on the deep pile rug. 😬🤣❤️. His wall kisses were meaningful and his little soul was that of a wildcat who loved his family and those he decided deserved it. Sweet baby Milo, I will miss you so much.
Rest peacefully big man. 🩵🌈🌱
