Weather reminder: There is only one walk at 7am this Wed 12th & Thu 13th. Anyone booked on has the option of a free midday garden let out in case no one is home.
💦 the next 2 days walks will be shaded and have plenty of water 💦

I’ve had to cancel today’s early morning walk. That’s the only one I’ve been doing all week and it’s been ok. It’s currently 22 degrees so I’m having to call it.
I’ve text everyone to let them know and offered midday let outs in peoples garden.
Thos is the last day of extreme heat so back to normal next week.

Another 6am start today, done (bar garden let outs) by 9.30am

Also I learnt this on a canine first aid course, it seems obvious but knowing this I still forgot yesterday when I turned the hose on that had been sitting in the sun, luckily I was filling a bucket so no harm done.

🛑 Always let the water run for a min or two as the water in the hose can literally be boiling 🛑
