Have you EVER seen anything so sexy?!

Probably.

Anywaaay we’re super chuffed to now have a CARD MACHINE that’ll exclusively be taking payment onsite. No more invoices and annoying messages with me chasing you! New pooches and their owners will still be required to pay via the original method as they won’t be on site but other than that I hope everyone’s lives will become much easier now!

Just a quick note from me to say THANK YOU to all of our lovely owners for your patience and understanding whilst we’ve tried to navigate this Christmas. We’ve had to do a few changes to appointment times and everyone has been so gracious! 🙏🏻🧡🥹

Special thank you to Grace for being an absolute trooper and working some MEGA long days so that I could concentrate on my personal recovery.

As I gradually build myself up back to normal, we will be sticking to your usual times and slots from now.

🎄Our Christmas opening times are a bit different this year.🎄

HYDROTHERAPY:

I’m scheduled for a small operation on the 12th December so please expect our working hours to be condensed in the week leading up to the Christmas break.

We are operating as normal up to the 12th December.

Week commencing Monday 16th December, Grace ( ) will be leading on all of your swims whilst I recover. We will be open with condensed hours and prioritising those dogs that need treatment rather than fun swims during this period. Of course we will give plenty of notice and communicate as best we can with you.

The pool will be closed on Monday 23rd December - Thursday 2nd January 2025. After then we will be operating as normal in 2025…HURRAH!

PHYSIOTHERAPY:

Lauren ( ) will be operating as normal over the Christmas break but may switch days around depending on bank holidays etc. She will organise these sessions with you in the upcoming weeks.

It’s our first birthday 🥳!

And what an AMAZING years it’s been!

- We have 5 stars on Google!
- Have welcomed an astonishing 140+ dogs through our doors!
- Have witnessed & played a big part in many miraculous recoveries, with lots of dogs coming from previously abusive homes.
- Have helped dogs loose weight and live a happier, healthier lives.
- Introduced so many dogs to water for the first time and built their confidence so they can swim in the big-wide-world 🌎
- Have cried with owners when they have had to make the most difficult of decisions 🌈
- Felt the whole community come together for us when we were burgled.
- WE WENT VIRAL 🚨 (7m views on Facebook thanks to )
- We added Physiotherapy to our offerings which has seen huge success when combined with hydrotherapy 💦

I couldn’t write this without thanking my incredible family & husband who have been total rocks throughout this journey.

Here’s to however many more years we’ve got left in us.

I definitely need a beer and a holiday though! 🍻

❤️Just want to say THANK YOU all so much for your kind words and concern.

Astonishingly I've had 6 people offer to give me their cameras as we were able to take photos of the new dogs yesterday without any interruptions, I'm so grateful! If anyone has a spare air tent, coffee machine, and portable speaker then let me know 🤣 (I'm joking obvs)!

In total about £1,200 of items were stolen, including all of my food in the fridge and storage room (yes, they took the milk too).
We're cooperating with police at the moment but will share updates as we go. Hopefully the insurance will cover the losses.

Just want to say that all of this chaos was caused by only a few awful individuals. But I've had dozens in the local community come by the unit, plus gifts and cards from my lovely owners. I can't express enough gratitude to everyone who's shown support and it's testament to our amazing community!

🚨 Unfortunately hydrohounds was broken in to overnight. 🚨

Luckily we can still operate as usual but some things were sadly taken. The camera is particularly upsetting as we take photos of all of the dogs with it 😔.

I don’t really have the words to convey how gutted I am that someone would plan & orchestrate to rob a small business that exists to help dogs. It’s my second home here, and I feel completely violated.

We’ve had the police here to do forensics and there’s some strong evidence so fingers crossed.

We will be open as usual tomorrow because I won’t let the f*ckers stop me.

HYDROHOUNDS IS HIRING!!

Hydrohounds – Based in Edgeley, Stockport, Manchester – is hiring for either a self-employed or part-time Physiotherapist and/or Hydrotherapist to join our team.
We only opened 8 months ago and have seen huge success and rapid growth. It’s now got to a point where we need to hire more wonderful people to keep up with demand.

Why Hydrohounds?

We’re a new, innovative centre that welcomes ideas & creativity. We know that we’re new to the industry and are always willing to listen, make improvements and develop. This would be a great opportunity for someone who wants to run their own centre but isn’t able to do so themselves. This is a HUGE opportunity for a physio/hydrotherapist to come on board and take ownership of the hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and treatment aspect of the business.

You will need to be:
- A registered canine hydrotherapist with experience.
Or
- A registered canine hydrotherapist with experience and training to be a vetphysio.
Or
- A veterinary physiotherapist with a hydrotherapy qualification (or about to start the hydro qualification)
Or
- A Veterinary Nurse looking to make a career change.

This role will start as part-time between 20-25 hours per week (including one weekend day). This will be with a view to increasing the number of hours as the business grows.

Hydrohounds is in a suburban location close to many local amenities & public transport links (Stockport Railway Station) so you don’t need to drive if you don’t have a license.
