It is with great sadness that we are announcing the upcoming closure of Stockbridge Riding Club, which John started 58 years ago. Whilst we have already told our staff and clients, we are now ready to announce to everyone that we will be closing on November 30th.
It has been an amazing 58 years and we know how disappointed people will be to hear this sad news. Truly the end of an era, as there will no longer be a riding school in Stockbridge. John and Caroline will need to move for financial reasons and the property will return to its original owners, who are farmers and have no desire to run a riding school.
We are very sorry for all the people who have supported us over the years and in particular our current staff and clients. Also our horses, who have loyally served us over the years. The younger ones will be sold and the older ones will hopefully find retirement homes.
Thank you for your understanding at this difficult time.
