We currently have spaces available in both Morning and Afternoon walks Monday - Friday. This is a 2 walk per week minimum.

A friendly and reliable small business with 6 years experience covering local areas in Stirling.

We already have an amazing team of dogs so to continue this standard we only accept the following:

Dogs over the age of 8 months old

Dogs that are well socialised and have a good nature.

Dogs with good recall.

Dogs that walk well on lead when needed.

Dogs that have basic manners and travel well.

Females dressed or not. Providing we are notified when dog is in season as we have intact males so walks are suspended.

Males neutered or not. Behaviour is monitored closely.

We as a company pride ourselves on keeping a level of fun on our walks but also structure and safety. We are active on social media and have received positive feedback over the years from our socials. We have a public Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. However location is never shared.

We also have a private Facebook group specifically for clients where weekly, more intimate photos of their dogs and walks are shared.

Our high standard continues into our transport. We currently have 2 vans operating which are fitted with custom dog crates and escape hatches. Both vans have windows that allow natural light into the back. One van that windows open to allow fresh air and the other fitted with an air and floor vent. Both vans are kept mechanically maintained and are generally spotless.

Any dogs that are suitable must receive a meet and greet at the dogs home before a trial walk is arranged within the working week to ensure both walker and dog are comfortable.

Over the years I’ve received generally the same messages.

“I’m looking for a dog walker just once a week.”

We have a 2 walks per week minimum. Meaning we do not walk dogs that are just once a week. It’s either 2 walks or more. This allows for routine which helps with behaviour and socialisation within the team.

“My dog isn’t well socialised can you take him/her on group walks to work on this?”

New dogs in our team have to have a good level of socialisation already. As I frequently preach we’re dog walkers, not trainers. It isn’t possible to socialise a dog 1 day out of 5. This needs to be more frequent in their routine. 2 - 3 walks per week.

“I work different shift patterns each month so there will be weeks I don’t need my dog walked. I’m also off the same holidays as the schools so my dog won’t need walked on those weeks either.”

Your dogs space has to be financially secured each week. Dogs that are only walked 2 or 3 weeks each month can be filled with dogs that require walking every week, every month. If dogs spaces are not financially secured they can potentially lose their space once filled. This also reflects school holidays too. We are running a business at the end of the day.

“My male dog doesn’t get on with other males can he still be in group walks?”

No, groups walks have to be enjoyable for all. Behaviour especially with dogs of the same s*x are monitored at all times. Dogs that show aggression or other behavioural problems within the group are not tolerated.

“My dogs recall is good but it depends on their mood sometimes.”

In our team all dogs recall needs to be solid. We walk in rural areas where our dogs can run free but recall is essential as we do come into contact with other public walkers. We have our fun time but dogs must be able to follow commands when needed.

“My dog pulls on lead but can’t be let off as it has a high prey drive”

Over the years we’ve walked our fair share of pullers. The strain this causes our knees, elbows and back are simply not worth it. Pulling especially in a group environment causes stress to the dog on lead when the others are running loose. Dogs that have a high prey drive are not only a risk to the group but to themselves therefore we do not accept these dogs.

We simply do not want to waste anyone’s time or our own so we are being honest and fair regarding our business choices.
