We may have a couple of spaces for young dogs to start on agility foundations alongside a couple of club member young dogs . These spaces are likely to be Monday or Thursday evenings at Stirling or a Wednesday afternoon at kirknewton and will be foundations ( no kit ) only until the dogs are old enough . These spaces are only available to experienced handlers / trainers.

Sorry we remain full to beginner handlers as we try not to mix experienced and beginner handlers .

Max class size is 5 dogs - cost dependent on venue £11-13

Starting in July - club member dogs will be 4-5 months .

Stirling camp with guest trainer Nicola Wildman - exhausting but amazing 2 days - it even felt like spring today with blue skies and sunshine . Cake selection wasn’t bad either 🥰🥰

As we come towards the end of the last day of 2023 a time where many are reflecting on their year. We are no different at Stirling agility club. In terms of our achievements we are very proud of our club members having a range achievement from rosettes, qualifiers and other competitive results to personal training results and goal achievement.

We wish all the followers and club members a happy new year, we wish that your 2024 is full of happiness, memories and achievements.

Busy week last week for Stirling Agility in-spite of the cold 🥶
Regular classes Monday and Thursday
Hosted Neil Ellis on Tuesday and Wednesday for some seriously cool course running
Friday we hosted Rachel our regular vet physio .. helping us keep our dogs fit
Saturday some members braved the snow to compete at wyre; for others we held at winter skills workshop at finavon focusing on tunnel skills
To end the week we ran a training show … great opportunity to test skills or build confidence and reward in the ring 💪💪

Great effort from the team all week !!

Due to handler injury we have 2 spaces this coming Tuesday 28 November and Wednesday 29 November ..would suit young dog with experienced handler or competing dog with experienced handler .

Stirling is hosting Neil Ellis on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 November .

We have one space left for a novice dog at 9:30 -12:30an in a group of 6 on Wednesday 29 November at Champfleurie ( huge space and great running surface ) get in touch if interested.

Other groups are currently full but happy to take notes of interest and add to the reserve list for the grade 7 groups and young dog groups .

As the season starts to wind down there is a number of shout outs due to some of our members and their achievements recently.

Firstly a massive congratulations to Jen and Newt who have been consistently bossing agility championship rounds being so close on a number of occasions to getting the championship ticket. At Gleniffer Jen and Newt showcased yet again what they are made of this time securing the medium agility championship ticket and a place in crufts agility championship. Many congratulations to this pairing.
