Blackwatch Tartan is a firm favourite from the colour choices I offer and there's lots of products to choose from in this fleece

A Ness drying coat, Dundas fleece jumper, Double fleece blanket, Sherpa fleece blanket, as a lining for a Morlich waterproof coat, for a Tripaw coat or as a snood!

I've been quiet on here simply because I'm so busy. September is when sales really ramp up and it's pretty much full on now right through to easter.

Lead times are a little longer just now and I hope to bring them down but I'd rather set realistic expectations than disappoint.

So it's back to the sewing machine for me .... and here's a photo of my girl Tillie showing what a great snug fit my Ness drying coats are. Designed to fit neat on the body for maximum drying power.

I'm getting slightly overwhelmed with the number of orders I have to make, so I have just increased the lead time from 3 to 4 weeks for new orders. This may drop as I catch up - or it may increase if orders keep flying in!

And relax 😊

My Tillie was in the vets last week to have a growth removed from under her ear that had appeared in a matter of days.

A worrying few days as we waited on the results but pleased to have the confirmation that it was a benign trichloblastoma, which is tumour of hair follicles. Complete surgical excision is curative and so as the mass has been fully removed we should be in the clear!

She has been a wee trouper throughout, totally unphased by it all. 🥰

Orders are coming in thick and fast at the moment, with waterproof coats topping the sales chart.

The waterproof coats take between 1.45hrs and 3hrs to sew depending on size, if they are the Morlich or Brora style, whether they require zipped harness access or are a custom size which take longer to plot and cut out.

So somedays I may only time to make 3 coats, other days a few more as there are other styles of coat orders in the mix too.

I'm currently on about a 3 week turnaround. Your order may only take 2hrs to make but there could be lots more in front of you in the queue. I'm working through them as quickly as I can and I love making each and everyone of your coats.

I'm working slightly slower at the moment as I pulled a muscle in my back on Thursday putting the gazebo back in the van. Moving is agony just now so everything is done in slow motion. Thankfully sewing is unaffected - once I'm sat in the chair that is and dont make any sudden movements!
