One of the last orders I am making before I finish up for my holidays to Canada and USA for the World Cup, and how apt that it's a saltire blanket 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Out of Office is on, the website is still open for orders, and I'll make and post them the end of June - I'll process them in date order so first come, first served 😊

On Saturday I will be at the Drymen Show with my stand - lots of dog coats (including cooling coats to try on) and accessories for you to browse and all made by me :)

The Drymen Show is a lovely agricultural show with lots to see and do for all, and dogs are welcome on lead.

**** NOTICE OF EXTENDED TURNAROUND TIME ****

I am off work for 2 1/2 weeks in June for some R&R and to watch a couple of games of football ⚽️🏆🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The website will remain open while I am away but from Saturday (30th May) my turnaround time will increase to 4 weeks.

This gives me time to complete all orders (up to 29th May) before I leave, and a bit of time to get the ball rolling again when I'm back.

So any orders placed from this Saturday onwards, will not be made and posted out till the end of June.

If you want something before then - you have until this Friday to get your order in !

Is there a UK animal charity who could make use of my old sample cooling coats?

There's a range of sizes from 30cm up to 80cm and lots in between. A total of 19 cooling coats

Some of the coats do have marks on them but they are all certainly usable.

A few photos of dogs in their new cooling coats that they got at the agility show that I attended today.

The cooling coats are made of an absorbant foam fabric that holds water. Once wet the fabric becomes cold to the touch. The coat draws heat from your dog, the water then evaporates carrying the heat with it and so your dog cools down.

Simple but effective!

The key is the chest panel as this allows the core organs to cool, so allowing your dog to better regulate their temperature and be more comfortable.

I have a run of agricultural coming up over the next few weeks. Starting with Fife Show on Saturday - the largest agricultural show in Fife. I haven't had a stand here in over 10 years so looking forward to going back.

I am then returning to the Drymen Show the following Saturday across to the west. I did this one for the first time last year and it had a lovely community feel so I thought i'd pop back again.

And then my first time at the Angus show in a couple of weeks time up in Brechin.

Lots going on at all 3 shows to see, and dogs are allowed in too , and there is a dog show at the Fife and Angus shows.

And if that wasnt enough I've slotted in agility and Hoopers in on the Sundays.

Right, back to sewing more cooling coats as the warmth is coming!
