When is the next Connection Clinic I hear you say?
18th July Totleywells Equestrian (our favourite venue). Have I complemented them enough yet?

If you haven't been to one of our clinics yet, why not? They are super chill, great for baby horses to get out and see new things in a safe environment 👀

We don't do drama, nothing happens very fast. Literally the slower the better 🐢

We do some groundwork, chat about behaviour, work through a series of challenges to include over/under/through obstacles. Sometimes we have a roll (the horses, not us!) and generally just have a nice time.

Another great day at Totleywells Equestrian for our June Connection Clinic.

This is honestly the best venue we’ve ever been to. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the facilities are outstanding.

We had new and returning faces for this clinic. It’s always such a complement when people return, and so lovely to meet new people and their lovely horses.

This clinic focuses on building the relationship between horse and handler in a controlled environment. We never want to have horses bombing off or getting so worked up they struggle to cope. Instead we give them time and space to breathe and process before asking again. There is never pressure for anyone to do anything just because someone else did it, and every horse is treated as an individual. It’s great to see how they grow in confidence over the session and leave a braver version of themselves 💜

There are a few spaces left in our Connection Clinic at Totleywells Equestrian tomorrow. I would LOVE to fill these spaces 💜

We still have spaces available for our clinic at Totleywells Equestrian this Sunday. We have 2 spaces in the 1.30-3pm group, so if you have a horse who loads to leave the yard but not to go home, we can help loading at the other end.

Horsey peeps we need advice. How can we entertain our horses on box rest?

After a laminitis scare last night we have now been fat shamed by the vets into taking action. The girls are on box rest for a week. We caught Poppys laminitis just in time, and Ice is too much of an idiot to go out by herself. So they are both in 🤷🏼‍♀️

What can we do to entertain them for the next week? They only ever come in when something is wrong, so ideally we need to make the stables “fun” places to be. Oh, and minimal sugar too!

Look at them, like butter wouldn’t melt 😂
