I've grieved alongside so many of my lovely clients this year 🀍 To everyone that has lost a loved one and is processing that loss I send my love and support πŸ•ŠοΈ It's such a privilege to get to know and love these special wonderful babies, it breaks my heart when they pass. This seems a good moment to remember them as we get ready for a new year. I hope they are all having a good time running free, on strong legs and without pain and I hope their humans find peace 🌈

✨ Remembering our beloved best friends ✨

As the year comes to a close, many of us are holding close the memory of the dogs we’ve loved and lost 🐾

They may no longer be by our side, but their paw prints remain forever in our hearts. The joy, comfort, and unconditional love they gave us continues to guide and inspire us every day.

Tonight, take a quiet moment to remember them - the walks, the snuggles, the little moments that made your bond so special.

Their love stays with us, always ❀️

Meet Ziggy! I don't often treat cats but when I do it is usually challenging and rewarding in equal measure!
Ziggy has a history of knee surgery and subsequent arthritis, she sadly also lost most of her sight earlier this year. Ziggy means the world to her mum and dad and we have been working hard to get her more comfortable and mobile, as well as helping her adapt to her vision loss. Seeing this usually sassy girl lose her confidence has been heartbreaking but she has really turned a corner recently which is so lovely to see. Laser therapy treatments done at home where she feels comfortable have really helped, we have been able to go at her pace and keep her sessions stress free 😽

After a successful dognapping last weekend and I got to spend some extra quality time with Barry! 😝 Baz is one of my original patients and was actually one of my case study dogs back when I was still training in canine massage! As you can see she had a pretty good time! I am unhealthily attached to Baz at this point, we have been through a lot, and I am so grateful for the continued support and friendship of her family πŸ₯° I invest heart and soul into the dogs I treat, this is not just a job to me and I wouldn't have it any other way 🐾
PS I gave her back, honest!

Summer is well and truly here! 😎
Gorgeous Henry has been having some treatment with me recently for a spinal issue, he's a sweet little chap and enjoys his treatment alongside lots of ear rubs and snacks! Henry has been making good progress with laser, massage and some targeted exercises to help improve flexibility and prevent injury πŸ’›

Some dogs are easy to treat, some dogs take a while to build trust....and then there's Sienna! πŸ‘‘
Sienna's mum (who has been amazing!) and I have had to work really hard to get her comfortable with treatment, always going at her pace. It's really important to me that I build a foundation of trust and respect with the dogs I work with, this allows me to treat more effectively and without using restraint or force. Sienna has been through a lot, knows her mind and is very clear in her communication, she's a total diva and I've had to endure many dirty looks but that only makes me love her more!
Sienna has been having treatment with me to help with IVDD management and has made really good progress in her gait and comfort level πŸ₯°

As most if you will know I am a sucker for a squishy face so I love getting to treat this little potato! Tiger has been having regular treatment with me to address some weakness and ataxia (in-coordination) of his back legs. We have managed to address some low back pain and he has made good progress with a combination of laser therapy, massage and exercises.
It's all rather exhausting and Tiger would rather have a nap though! 😴

I got to see this lovely boy recently for some laser to help with a ligament injury.
Ligament damage can be slow to heal as the tissue is less vascular compared to bone or muscle- so laser can be really helpful to boost healing as well as providing pain relief. We also did some massage to ease of some secondary muscular tension in his shoulders and back.
I've known Killi since he was a pup and he was a total star for his treatment ⭐️ Bonus points for looking cool in the doggles of course! 😎
