I AM BACK 🙌🏻 🤗

My grooming diary is now fully back open from July for small and medium breeds. 🐾

Large breeds may be considered depending on their weight and whether I am able to safely support them in and out of the bath. Unfortunately, I am unable to accommodate XL breeds at this time.

My working hours will be Monday–Friday from 9am, with the last appointment slot available at 3pm.

Existing weekend and late evening clients will remain unaffected. However, I am not currently taking on any additional weekend or late night appointments unless I have availability. I may occasionally be able to accommodate one-off appointments on a weekend and late night if I have a gap not secured by regular clients and I’m already working. This is so I am able to free up my weekends and evening to spend with my family and pooches.

Thank you all for your continued support and understanding. I can’t wait to see you all again as I have been missing my wonderful pooches ❤️

Hi, I’m Mel — welcome to my new business venture! 🐾

I have been a self-employed dog groomer for over six years, and I’m excited to now be expanding my services into dog walking and small animal care.

I’m a proud owner of four dogs — two Beagles and two Cocker Spaniels — aged 11, 9, 8, and 6. I also have four bunnies, so I truly understand the love and care pets need. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience looking after a variety of animals.

I offer a range of flexible services tailored to suit each pet’s individual needs. I am fully insured and trained in canine first aid, so you can feel confident your pets are in safe and capable hands.

Services include:
• 1-to-1 dog walking
• Group walks
• Pet visits — whether it’s letting your dog out or caring for small animals while you’re away

‼️Hi everyone,

I would like to inform you that, from 1st June, there will be a small increase to my dog grooming prices.

This decision has not been made lightly. I have maintained my current pricing for several years despite ongoing increases in the cost of living and rising expenses within the grooming industry. However, to continue providing the same high standard of care, products, and service, a price adjustment has now become necessary.

I truly appreciate your continued support, understanding, and loyalty, and I look forward to continuing to care for your dogs.

Hi everyone, I know I have been super quiet and slow to replying to messages.
One of my pooches has had to have surgery with 15 staples. Resulting me having to put his care first. I will be in touch with everyone who has messaged once I am back into my normal routine.

Hi everyone,

Today marks my final day grooming here at Netherthorpe Close. It’s a bittersweet moment, as this is where my grooming journey began. I feel incredibly grateful to have watched so many of your pooches grow from puppies, building special bonds along the way. I will always treasure the memories made here.

I’m now moving on to the next chapter, and I’m excited for what the future holds. Bigger and better things are planned for 2026, once the festive season has passed and we are settled into our new home.

I will be contacting anyone whose pre-booked appointments may be affected by the change. Please note that I am not taking new appointment requests at this time.

Over the next week especially, responses may be delayed as I’ll be extremely busy with the move — thank you in advance for your patience.
