Splash Paws Canine Hydrotherapy Referral & Rehabilitation Centre Splash Paws Canine Hydrotherapy Centre. Member of Canine Hydrotherapy Association. Opened Jan 2012 SAFE, CARING & PROFESSIONAL CANINE HYDROTHERAPY in KENT.

We offer 1-on-1 hydrotherapy sessions for your dog. No other clients or dogs will be in the room (therapy space) whilst we are treating your dog, this is so important to allow your dog to relax and not have eyes on another dog being treated. This means you receive 100% attention and care for your dog. We have 2 x Hydrotherapy Rooms with Underwater Treadmills and a Laser Therapy room. We have a Com

panion CTS-DUO Class IV Laser, only the best for our patients. All of the Splash Paws Team are Qualified Hydrotherapists and fully trained in Laser Therapy. Splash Paws are proud to be members of the Canine Hydrotherapy Association (CHA). The CHA are the only national organisation that audits their centres to make sure that they adhere to a strict set of quality standards. Hydrotherapy can help with many medical conditions. It offers non-weight bearing exercise in heated water which can assist those recovering from injury or surgical procedures, suffering from orthopaedic problems and many others. It is also a great way of getting or keeping your dog in a great physical condition, so we offer fitness too. Laser Therapy is SAFE, NON-INVASIVE, NON SURGICAL and enhances our rehabilitation offer to improve outcomes. Our aim is to improve the health, mobility, physical and mental well-being of all the dogs that come to us. The welfare of your dog is the most important thing. If you are looking for QUALITY Canine Hydrotherapy then Splash Paws is the centre for you.

This is the lovely Mortimer.
He has recently started with us at Splash Paws following surgery to his cruciate ligament on his right stifle.
He has had a couple of hydrotherapy sessions however has seemed a little uncomfortable through the stifle joint during these sessions.
Therefore, we have altered his plan slightly to include some physiotherapy to ease his discomfort before making his return to hydrotherapy!
Today was his first physiotherapy session, and despite being a little unsure at points he smashed the session! ❤️
Here at Splash Paws we are constantly reviewing and changing treatment plans ensuring we do the best for your dogs. ❤️🐾🐾❤️

Handsome boy Stanley had his Initial Hydrotherapy Assessment with us today.
At 14 years old his owner has been noticing some muscle loss and hindlimb weakness with stiffness after walking. Stanley did really well in his introduction to the underwater treadmill however he is going to be having massage & laser therapy sessions to improve his comfort before coming back to the underwater treadmill in the future. ❤️🐾🐾❤️
This little chaps case highlights how important it is for Splash Paws to be able to switch therapies, to improve therapy outcomes, to offer the right therapy depending on the dog’s needs that present at an assessment.

The lovely Cherry her had assessment yesterday.
She has been coming to aid in her recovery for medial coronoid disease - right elbow arthroscopy and subtotal coronoidectomy.
Today it was found that she had gained 1cm on each limb, which indicates that she is using each limb equally when walking.
Her stance analyser results were also very good showing her to be more balanced in her stance.
Well done Cherry! ❤️🐾🐾❤️

Meet the lovely Ayla.
She is two weeks post Cruciate surgery and she loved her Initial Assessment session today.
She was an angel for all of her assessment and even fell asleep whilst having massage and laser therapy. ❤️

Ayla is taking alot of weight off of her injured leg and still feeling very sore through the operated joint, for this reason, she will be having massage and laser therapy for a few weeks until her 6 week check up.
This will help promote tissue healing, cell repair and provide natural pain relief.

We look forward to following Ayla’s rehabilitation journey at Splash Paws ❤️

Matilda has been coming to Splash Paws for nearly 3 years and has the therapists well trained to get cuddles and treats.

She originally came following a diagnosis of left hock OCD, however she has been on a bit of a rehab journey.
Following complications after surgery she ended up having to have all the plates and pins removed and she was then left walking on 3 legs.
She has been on a plan of weekly hydrotherapy and her owners now report that she is doing well and will use all limbs when encouraged to walk slowly.
Well done Matilda we look forward to seeing more of your progress ❤️❤️
