A quick reminder for anyone visiting the field.

There are some new tyre tracks on the grass that weren’t there before, so just a gentle ask to please keep all driving to the hard-standing areas only.

Driving on the grass causes damage and, with the ground this soft, there’s a real risk of getting stuck too.

We planted some new hedgerow plants this week to help fill in the bare patches along the western boundary - carefully overseen by EB.

Over time it’ll grow into a lovely, dense hedge that gives dogs a calmer walk by softening the view of passing cars.

But the dogs aren’t the only ones we’re thinking of. A continuous hedge is brilliant for wildlife too.

It offers shelter from the weather, safe corridors to move between habitats, nesting spots for small birds plus food for insects and mammals throughout the year.

Small steps, but they all add up. 🦔🐇🐦‍⬛

That’s a wrap on our 2nd Birthday Photo Competitions — and what a month it’s been! 🎉

Thank you so much to everyone who’s joined in, liked, commented and shared their gorgeous photos over the past four weeks. It’s been such a joy seeing all your dogs enjoying the field.
