Tommy redeemed himself today 🎉

Tommy is a real pain for getting out the field. The only reason I can think is that he is bored & needs some additional stimulation ... So I've finally taken the plunge to start getting him backed.

Today was Day 1 & Tommy's first day in a bridle.

I've been really worried about backing Tommy as he shows many signs of separation anxiety when you take other horses away from him. Turns out, it's fine if he's the one you're taking away 😂

Little poodle round the bridleway getting used to his (it's actually Sven's) bridle. He was an absolute gem 💎 This pony is so d***y & laid back it's unbelievable.

Prepare yourself for lots of Tommy spam over the coming weeks 💕

My very own Sven finally got his ears lowered for the second time this year 💇‍♂️

On Saturday, Sven & Alfie were visited by Lucy from

Although I was always taught good sheath management, the removal of beans is not something I was taught. For that reason, I was worried that if I did it myself, I would potentially do more harm than good 😕

Lucy was fantastic, she explained everything to me & answered all my weird & wonderful questions.

I was unsure how the two ponies would behave as, like I said, this is not something I have done before. Lucy made both ponies feel comfortable & relaxed, meaning they were impeccably well behaved 😇

Sven had quite a large bean which needed to be broken in half to get it out while Alfie just had a small bean. Other than that, both boys were all healthy which is always good to hear 😊

Both happy & comfortable now ... Well, as happy as Alfie gets 🤣
