We’re bringing something new to Far & Wide…

An adventure-based extension for dogs who need more than just a walk 👀

Welcome to the Hiking Hounds Programme!!

This is structured, purposeful hiking designed to fulfil your dog both mentally and physically.

What we offer:
• 3 Hour Hike – £50 (8 miles +)
• 6 Hour Hike – £85 (15 miles +)
• All Day Adventures – Price discussed with owner.

Each hike is carefully planned, giving your dog real-world exposure, structured movement, and proper engagement in natural environments.

This Experience is Perfect for:
• High-energy breeds.
• Working dogs.
• Dogs needing confidence building & stimulation.

Important Information to note:
• All-day hikes must be pre-booked in advance.
• Locations and hiking areas will be discussed and agreed with the owner beforehand.
• All dogs must pass a fitness check to ensure this is the right fit for them.

This isn’t just exercise, it’s a purpose-driven experience.

Proud to share that I’ve completed a full suite of canine‑care qualifications to strengthen the services we offer here at Far & Wide.

🎓 Newly Completed Certifications:
• Dog First Aid, Dog Care & Animal Wellbeing
• Dog Walking Business – A to Z Guideline
• Mastering Dog Behaviour and Training
• Dog Nutrition with Dog Training
• Dog Grooming Certification
• Emergency First Aid for Dogs

These courses covered everything from emergency care and behaviour to grooming, nutrition, and running a safe, professional dog‑walking service.
This is all part of our commitment to giving every dog in our care the highest standard of safety, wellbeing, and understanding.

During our command and control session with Ted, we encountered an obstacle and chose to use it to our advantage.

Once activated, he is incredibly focused and determined, there's no getting away for him, under or over.

His drive, precision, and willingness to work alongside me are exceptional, and I'm forever grateful for his commitment.
