No-shows are becoming a real issue—especially during the summer holidays.
This past week alone, we’ve had over 7 no-shows. At the same time, we’ve turned so many people away because we were fully booked… only to have those spaces sit empty.
That’s the reality for small boarding businesses.
Every no-show isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s lost income, wasted preparation, and missed opportunities for other pets who needed those spaces. During our busiest season, when demand is at its highest, those empty spots matter more than ever.
We understand that plans change, but without communication, the impact falls entirely on us.
We’re sharing this to be transparent about what’s happening behind the scenes—and to remind everyone how important it is to keep us updated if your plans change.
Because right now, the reality is simple: we’re full, we’re turning people away… and still ending up with empty spaces.
