Everyone meet Max. Max is only a few years old and unfortunately came into us after his owner sadly passed away. Max found a home pretty quickly however in this home it became clear Max missed his outdoor/indoor life and became very stressed at the fact he couldn’t go outdoors resulting in him essentially self harming by scratching at himself and overgrooming (a reason we don’t have an indoor only policy because some cats cannot mentally cope with being trapped after having outdoor experience).
Max is now back with us and we feel so very bad for him as he’s confused and in such a short time had his original home and new home taken away from him so we really need to get his next home right 🥺
