With much regret we must inform you that the decision has been made to close the equestrian facilities at Park Farm permanently. They will not now reopen in March of 2024.

This unfortunate decision has been led by the need for us to focus on the core farming of the land, meaning there are fewer resources available to provide other peripheral activities such as the arena and Chasers courses.

We are very sorry about this and realise that for some of our regular visitors this will be awful news.

Chris, Mike and Nico would like to thank everybody for their support over the years and wish you the very best for the future.

WINTER CLOSURE DATES

We hope you are all enjoying the belated summer which we are experiencing this week.

The two cross country courses will close this year from the 25th September to the end of March 2024. The exact reopening date will be dependent on the spring weather next year.

The Park Farm Arena will remain available for hire for the time being, possibly throughout the winter.

We would like to thank you all for using Park Farm this year and hope you will enjoy the next few weeks before we close for the winter.

In response to a recent query, I would like to clarify the options for cross country course hire.

On mobile devices these can get cut off so please turn your device sideways.

Long/Short Course Hire - hire of the course by one or more adults.

Long/Short Course Adult & Child - hire of the course by an adult with a child (both mounted). If you are an accompanying adult and not riding, you do not need to pay and should only purchase the child option.

Long/Short Course Under 16 - hire of the course for an mounted under 16 only. Grown ups may walk or cycle without payment.

PARKING

We are regularly asked if clients need to book the parking spots AS WELL AS their arena or cross country bookings. The answer is NO, you do not. The parking service is only for people who are not using our facilities but wish to park at the farm.

What is a UK Chasers Course?

The UK Chasers courses were a series of arable headland cross country courses, spread around the country.
They were situated on arable farms and were NOT equestrian centres with stabling, indoor arenas etc.
Although the UK Chasers organisation is now defunct, Park Farm continues to offer the facilities for hire.
Because Park Farm is part of a large arable agriculture business the Farm Manager may not be around when you arrive so please be respectful, enjoy your trip and leave the area as you found it, or better!

How much is it to book a facility?

Prices for booking vary between the courses and the ages of riders.
Parking only (to use local bridleways): £5
Arena Hire: £10 per hour
Short Course Hire (Under 16): £5
Short Course Hire (Adult): £10
Short Course Hire (Adult and child): £15
Long Course (Under 16): £10
Long Course (Adult): £20
Long Course (Adult and child): £30

Why is the date I want not available?

As well as being available for private hire, Park Farm Equestrian can be booked for events host by third parties.
As these bookings are made, the relevant dates are marked as unavailable in the system, and will not be available for private hire.

I don't have a PayPal account. How do I pay?

Continue with the payment as if you did have a PayPal account and when the PayPal window comes up you will see the option at the bottom to pay with a credit or debit card. This does not require a PayPal account.

Will I/We be alone on the course?
Although it is quite possible that you will be alone on the short or long courses we set a capacity limit of 20 people in a time slot.
Hopefully there is plenty of room but if you do encounter other users we ask that you use common sense and give each other space.
In the Park Farm Arena we limit bookings to one person or group at a time for obvious reasons.

Can we bring our dog(s)?

We would prefer it if people did not bring their dogs but we understand that is not always possible.
If you have a dog with you it must be on a lead at all times and kept under control.

We are very happy to announce that we are planning to open all the facilities again on Saturday 1st April.

Even better, you can save 20% when booking for that weekend if you choose the appropriate option in the Facility drop-down (see below). Keep scrolling for the short course options!

We have blocked out some private events on the 29th April and 17/18th of June so you will not be able to book any facility on these dates, sorry.

"The adventure takes place this summer holiday in a secret camp site somewhere in Britain!

The programme will explore what kids are capable of in an outside, wild environment. Please note: the kids will be constantly supervised by trained chaperones/experts.

We are pleased to confirm that the cross country courses will be open again from the 1st April. No joke.

We are also running a promotion over the Easter weekend where you can save 10% on any booking from 15th-18th April. Look out for the Easter booking options on the website to take advantage of these offers - you won't be able to book for those dates using the non-Easter options.
