Despite all the heat ☀️🥵🔥it feels like we’ve made it through the summer whilst keeping the gang safe and happy! 🐶🐾🐕

I’m actually looking forward to cooler walks, the rain and even the mud (remind me of this in November!)

Due to some retirees I have some rare, new, regular slots available from September - Monday - Friday for group walks. Pls contact me for more info. 🤙📞📲

I walk for a full hour (approx 3.5-4km) , on varied routes every time, off lead where suitable. After ten years providing high quality, safe walks I know that not all dog walkers are equal!

Before starting I offer a free consultation to meet you and your dog and show you all my relevant paperwork📋 (business insurance, Criminal records check, NARPS certification for dog walkers etc) so you be fully assured and confident that your dog will be in the best hands.

Labradors aren’t always top of the list when it comes to grooming, but did an amazing job on Margot today - getting rid of all her dead hair and cooling her down in this heat. Thoroughly recommend Carley McNally at Henry’s Hut in Green Tye for local peeps.

For my local contacts - my former business partner and current friend (!) Carley has left the skies and is returning to her doggy roots to become a groomer based in Green Tye!

I know she will be excellent and is completing her OCN endorsed training course with a salon at the moment where her feedback has been brilliant. In the mean time she is offering training rates. I usually meet the most lovely people on my walks, but today was a rare exception. 😢

If you walk up - at speed - behind someone with a group of dogs off lead minding their own business and don’t make yourself known until they come over for a sniff hello - they will come up to you. Then telling me you are scared of dogs and they should be on leads when you’ve continued to walk at speed through them all does not GIVE ME TIME TO PUT 6 dogs on leads. (Sadly,as yet, there is no contraption that allows me to put six dogs on leads in under a second).
Then after walking away shout at me that they’ve made your shorts dirty - well perhaps you should stick to a treadmill at the gym.

I always try to be so aware of people
around me - especially those who are frightened of dogs- but I don’t have 360 degree vision and if you don’t give me a small heads up or a moment to put them on a lead then I’m afraid they will come over for, at worst, a hello.

Let’s share the countryside and not be t***s.

EDIT. Well that escalated quickly so I’ve turned off comments for now. Thanks for all your thoughts - it’s obviously a divisive subject. I just wanted to stress that we all need to communicate and then 99% of these issues will be avoided. I’ll go back to posting photos of my happy gang! Happy walking in the sunshine people x

‼️Help and recommendations please‼️

I’m fed up of buying walking shoes that last no longer than a season. 🥾

I’ve tried buying well - last ones being Scarpa - and cheap - karrimor etc.

They all stop being waterproof very quickly - despite all the marketing claims. 💧🌧️

I do cover a lot of miles each week and need -

•Waterproof
•Grippy
•Light weight

For March - October. (In winter I wear Le Chameau wellies which I cannot fault)

Any gems I haven’t thought of? I’m fed up of wet feet!

I love spaniels but the energy levels are off the charts!! 🤣

To be happy like this chap they need A LOT of exercise and enrichment.
