Sadly, and inexcusably, the government is looking to review their stance on animal testing for cosmetics in the UK - something that has been banned since 1998. It actually sickens me that this cruel practice could be brought back, especially for something as superficial as cosmetic products. For all you pet parents out there, sign this for your fur babies - other animals might sadly not be as lucky as yours 🐾💚
The Government must recognise the urgent need to use animal-free science and publish a clear and ambitious action plan with timetables and milestones to drive the phase-out of animal experiments. As well as preventing animal suffering, this will benefit public health and business.
