My Divine Canine offers dog grooming in a calm and relaxed environment with a city & guilds qualified dog groomer. Grooming prices .....
Dogs that are groomed accordingly to their breed standard i.e. spaniels are recommended to be groomed every 8-10 weeks,
if kept in good condition and good coat condition and booked in on a regular basis will be charged at a rate FROM £15.00 per hour. For example.
.Their groom would take approx 2 hours so totals to £30, if the dog is matted it may go up to £35 total, or if your an hour late a sitting fee will be added bringing the total to £40
Dogs that aren't booked in on a regular basis and leave it 5-6 months plus before bringing your dog to be groomed will be charged at a rate FROM £20 Per hour this is due to the dog requiring a lot of extra work and should encourage owners to ensure their much loved family member is groomed more regularly as they will be uncomfortable if coat is left unattended. If your dog has a long thick coat and you aren't quite managing to keep on top of the brushing between grooms and the coat becomes knotted or has matts there will be an additional charge depending on how severe they are. When each dog enter's the salon their coat will be thoroughly checked for any knot's and matting and if they take longer than 15 minuets to brush out they will be clipped out short as we are here to ensure the dogs welfare and best interests are taken care of. As you can imagine having your hair brushed and pulling at your skin would make it very sensitive and sore,
So please don't expect us to do this to your much loved pooch as we want them to enjoy their grooming experience as much as possible. If appointments are booked in regularly but missed there will be a £15 charge for the wasted appointment, please be considerate that someone else could have taken this if you had given notice (48 hours minimum) if 2 appointments are missed the full non-refundable payment will be required for any future grooms you'd like to book with us. If the missed appointment fee isn't paid then i'm afraid i wont be able to groom your dog in future.. i'm sure this wont happen though as you understand this is my full time job so i can't keep risking loss of earnings for your failure to attend to appointments:)
Puppies! Its very important puppies have an amazing experiencing as they will always remember their time at the salon!,
We recommend they come along for and hour or two before they are booked in for their first full groom to they can get used to the
environment. When they attend their first full grooming appointment we use lots of positive reinforcement and give plenty of breaks so they
don't become too exhausted with the groom. The Characters...
Dogs that are highly strung, aggressive or just a fidget will require another pair of hands so I will need to be made aware of this when booking so I can have my helper come along for the day.. this is just to occupy the dog whilst i groom or assist if the dog is aggressive so the dog or myself don't come to any harm. i'm more than happy to groom these types of dog but please give me warning:)
Flea's...
Every dog should be de-flead before booking your appointment, however if you do bring your dog along with fleas please mention this so no others dogs catch them and i can use a quality de flea shampoo (Extra £8 charge)
Late Picking up your pooch?....
when your dogs appointment has finished you have 30 minuets to collect and after that time there will be a sitting fee of
£5 per hour per dog. If you have any queries please message me or give me a phone call
Many Thanks - My Divine Canine
