ted walking dogs as a part time job in Salford and surrounding areas that worked around our university studies. This quickly developed into a big part of our lives that we were very dedicated to and passionate about! After three successful years we cared for over 30 dogs and had a bit of a reputation for walking a mixture of very small to very large dogs, young to old, playful to reserved, pups to rescues, groups or solo, we loved them all dearly. We sadly closed in the Salford area due to relocation. Since then our skills have developed through working in different animal departments, learning more animal behaviour including basic training dog schools. For the last two years one of our members has worked in group basic training for a well-known dog school, teaching a wide variety of breeds and ages, as well as offering support and advice to owners with more complex dog behaviour needs. Due to our massive love for all pets and of course dogs, All About The Dogs has reopened in the Stafford area, our new location for dog walking, pet drop ins and pet sitting services. We want to help you with your loved furry family members so that you can relax when you are away or at work, knowing they are in safe hands having a great time! With our dog walks we can offer group or solo walks if your dog feels more relaxed with a quieter walk away from others. Thanks to all our current doggy friends and their families for getting us this far, we are already rapidly growing and very excited for the future of All About The Dogs! As well as our walks, house sits or drop ins, we are also happy to help with training advice and we are excited to soon be expanding to be able to offer training services! Tomorrow is the day! 🏔️

As our clients will know, tomorrow Charlotte and her partner, Sean, will fly to Nepal to complete the three passes trek to Everest Base Camp.

The Three Passes Trek is the ultimate Himalayan journey, crossing Renjo La, Cho La, and Kongma La to form a challenging circuit through some of the most remote, rugged, and awe-inspiring terrain in Nepal.
We will be tracking to EBC which sits 5364m above sea level battling steep rugged terrain and the thinner air at altitude.

We are hoping to raise as much as we can for the brilliant National Foundation for Retired Service Animals. is a fantastic UK based charity, offering support to retired service animals who have worked serving the public in the Police, Fire Service, Armed Forces, Prison service, NHS and more! The NFRSA promotes the care, well-being, and welfare of retired service animals by supporting with veterinary and medical bills.

This support is vital in ensuring service animals receive the care they need during retirement, and unfortunately no government funding is currently available to support retired animals and insurance companies do not usually accept former service animals or charge extortionate prices.

This is a charity very close to our heart. We both have a career working with dogs and Sean works with service animals. Retired police Dog Phenex (see pictured) has retired and remains living with us after serving and protecting the public, and looking after Sean in this dangerous world! It is reassuring to know that the NFRSA are there to support us, should we need them in the future.

🐾Positive Reinforcement Dog Training🐕‍🦺

Why positive reinforcement?
Positive reinforcement is the scientifically BEST way your dogs learn. Not only does it build a life long bond, it creates a safe and fun learning environment for both you and your dog.

Your dogs learning and training is not a quick fix. We live such busy lives and expect our dogs to keep up, so people and trainers use aversive methods and equipment for that ‘quick fix’ so our dogs fit better into our lives. But unfortunately that is not how our dogs learn best. Why should they be forced into situations through pain and discomfort when they’ve not actually been taught how to do something? These methods can cause even more problems later down the line, not only to your dogs mental health with worrisome and fearful responses, it can also damage them physically and ruin your relationship or their relationship with others and their environment.

Dogs learn through understanding and being shown.. just like us! Yes this can take time but doesn’t all learning? If we start a new job we expect to be shown what to do and to have time to learn the processes and what is being asked of us, our dogs are the exact same.

This is also increasingly important for our young pups and teaching them how to thrive, be confident and comfortable in the big wide world around them!

❄️WE’RE OPEN❄️

What a day to come back to! We hope everyone had a lovely festive season and stays safe on the roads today!

We are open, but due to the weather and icy roads please be patient with us with any delays as we will be taking it slow when driving inbetween dogs. 🐕

It looks like we have got a week of snow, again we will be open but expect delays as we are fully booked. If you are home during this weather and no longer need us or still want us to come but are flexible with your timing’s, just let us know so we can prioritise dogs who are home alone ⛄️

ONE MORE SLEEP!!

We are now closed for Christmas and New Years!
