What a fantastic end to Show Week and a wonderful moment for British farming as the Hawkstone Farmers Choir were crowned winners of Britain's Got Talent 2026.

Over the past week we've celebrated the very best of agriculture here at Staffordshire County Show, and seeing a farming choir capture the hearts of the nation on one of the UK's biggest stages feels like the perfect finale.

Congratulations to every member of the choir on this incredible achievement, their journey has showcased the passion, resilience and community spirit that exists throughout the farming industry, shining a positive spotlight on rural Britain and inspiring millions along the way.

A truly well-deserved victory and a proud moment for farming communities across the country.

πŸ‘ Well done, can't wait for your performance at the Royal Variety πŸ‘

🌳 As part of the ongoing improvements to the Members Pavilion at Staffordshire County Showground, former SBAS Chairman Antony Key and his wife Ruth have kindly donated eight Silver Birch trees to line the newly refurbished walkway leading to the Pavilion.

The new pathways, upgraded lighting and elegant trees have helped create a welcoming entrance for members and visitors alike ahead of this year’s Staffordshire County Show.

With the Showground now licensed for wedding ceremonies and receptions from 2026, the Silver Birch trees provide a beautiful backdrop throughout the seasons and are a fitting symbol of growth and new beginnings. πŸ’š

Visitors attending the Staffordshire County Show on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th May are encouraged to take a moment to enjoy the enhanced walkway and thoughtful contribution from Antony and Ruth Key.
