The Muzzle Crochet trim - It was with great love, tenderness, joy and laughter, “Walk” was welcomed back to TLC Grooming with his Mummy, for his much needed all over cut and trim. He suffers from severe anxiety and does not tolerate the front of his body and head being trimmed and therefore requires wearing a muzzle. This makes it almost impossible to shape his face in any way. However, Mummy and I have invented a new technique today, which worked! Whilst the muzzle was on Walks face, we gently used a Crochet Hook to pull out the hairs through the muzzle, and then I scissored around the edge of the muzzle. Mummy is so happy with the shape of his face now as we managed to get most of the matts out and a better shaped face. Happy Summer sweet boy, see you in 6 weeks for your next “special crochet” groom. TLC Grooming would like to share and give thanks to all our TLC Grooming Families for their gifts and well wishes for our own Beloved Dog, Rudy Mental’s holiday last week. Due to his recent injury, it was “touch and go” if he was going to make it to his 13th Birthday Holiday, but HE MADE IT! In addition, the Camp Site we visit gave us much more than we anticipated, which made this very difficult adventure, so much easier. Every year we arrive at the area and take him to the Seaside. He then knows he is on his holiday. We then check in and get settled. This year, due to his injury and his age, we rested him and only took him on short gentle walks around the caravan park. On the last day, we took him to the Seaside as he absolutely loves this. His Mental Health was restored and his Physical Health recuperated gently and well. We hope you enjoy the photos.
