It’s not just caring for your cats, my visits can also include caring for your home, and other small pets e.g. fish, rabbits, hamsters, chickens etc - I do draw the line at snakes though!

Maybe it’s just my calming cat nanny vibes…….but whenever somebody says their cat is shy or nervous around people and I might not see them much, they’re usually pleasantly surprised by how quickly their cat warms to me.

Maybe it’s because……

✨I let them set the pace
I give them space, speak and move calmly, and let them come to me when they’re ready - even if it takes a few visits!

✨I won’t force interaction
No pressure, just a calm, comforting presence

✨I keep things consistent
Same visit time each day, so they know when to expect me.

For those of you who haven’t met me yet…. ✨Hi, I’m Sophie, the face behind Moggie Poppins. I’m a dedicated cat lover offering a bespoke cat sitting service for the last 6 years. This is my only job, other than being a mum to my 10 year old daughter, who also loves cats! We have a 4 year old black rescue cat called Lottie 🐈‍⬛ I previously worked with people as an HR Advisor, and definitely have no regrets about choosing to work with cats instead! I love cats and they seem to love me too, even the shy ones. I want your cats to feel as safe and happy as possible whilst you’re away. October half term was filled with this lovely lot 🐈
I also managed to have a couple of nights away, and was tempted by a cat cafe as I hadn’t stroked a cat in 24 hours!
