Koda
Koda is looking to be rehomed through no fault of his own. He was rescued from being PTS by my lovely customers and they have fostered him ever since. He was surrendered to the dog warden due to his family not being able to look after him anymore.
They’ve had him for around 3 months and he’s been a really good, sweet boy.
We believe he is around 2 years old and he is a Bull Mastiff cross. He isn’t as big as he looks, he weighs 36kg so not your typical Bull Mastiff size. Potentially a Boxer or Shar Pei cross?
He has recently been castrated which hasn’t caused any change to his sweet nature or health. Koda has been good in the vets, lapping up all the attention.
Koda would be better suited to a home with female dogs. Although he has been fine with male dogs, he is really comfortable with female dogs and happily plays nicely. He is quite boisterous and has been corrected by other dogs which he has listened to and not pushed his luck.
He is a typical boy, a big baby, loves a cuddle but doesn’t particularly like to be left alone. But with practise and perseverance this could be improved on.
Koda pre castration was attending a weekly Obedience Class. He has had very little training before being in his foster home but is obviously a quick learner and improving each week.
He is now comfortable on a head collar (halti) and slip lead but I think he would be very adaptable to whatever he got comfortable with.
My customers are asking for the castration fee back, just to ensure he is rehomed appropriately.
Please share this post so we can find Koda the home he truly deserves 🙏
