Keeping raw food safe is simple when you follow a few basic steps!

❄️ 1. Defrost in the fridge
Move your dog’s food from the freezer into the fridge and allow it to thaw gradually — ideally in a sealed container.

🧊 2. Keep it chilled
Once defrosted, keep raw food refrigerated until you’re ready to serve it.

⏰ 3. Use it promptly
Follow the storage instructions on the product packaging and don’t leave raw food sitting at room temperature for long periods.

🧼 4. Keep everything clean
Wash your hands, bowls, utensils and surfaces thoroughly after handling raw meat.

Green tripe is the unbleached, minimally processed stomach lining of a ruminant animal, such as beef or lamb. And no — “green” doesn’t mean the colour!

✅ FACT: Dogs don’t have a specific dietary requirement for carbohydrates. They can digest and use carbs, but their essential nutrients can be supplied through proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals in a properly balanced diet.

🥩 A balanced raw diet can provide:
• High-quality animal protein
• Essential fats
• Naturally occurring nutrients
• The correct balance of meat, bone & offal

💡 The important bit: “No essential requirement for carbohydrates” doesn’t mean all carbs are bad — certain fruits and vegetables can still have a place in a dog’s diet.
