I received the sad news a few days ago that one of my wonderful clients Dougal has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 💔🐾

Being a dog carer is so much more than taking dogs out for walks. Over time they become part of your life and your heart. Each dog has their own personality, their own little quirks, and a special place in the memories they leave behind.

It was a privilege to have cared for and walked this beautiful soul. The wagging tail, happy greetings, and adventures we shared will never be forgotten.

My thoughts are with their family during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for trusting me to be a part of their life. They were truly loved and will be deeply missed.

You may have noticed I've been a little quiet on here recently... and I'd love to say it's because I've been enjoying lots of peaceful relaxation, but the truth is far more chaotic! 🐾😂

Meet Bonnie! 💕🐶

Bonnie is the newest member of my family and has spent the last few weeks keeping me extremely busy with important puppy duties such as:

🐾 Stealing socks
🐾 Testing my patience
🐾 Perfecting her puppy-dog eyes
🐾 And generally being far too cute to stay annoyed with

She's already convinced me that sleep is overrated and that every object in the house is actually a dog toy.

Thank you to all my wonderful clients for sticking with me while I've been settling this little whirlwind into family life. I'm sure Bonnie will be making plenty of appearances on the page as she grows up (and hopefully learns that my shoes aren't chew toys!).

Some weeks in this job are a lot harder than others 💔

I recently said goodbye to one very special girl, Tia who I had the absolute privilege of meeting. She wasn’t just a “client’s dog” — she was part of my daily life, and I’ll miss her more than I can put into words.

To her lovely family, thank you for trusting me with her. She was truly amazing and I feel so lucky to have known her.

This job brings so much joy, but moments like this remind me just how deep the love for these dogs runs. Hug your pups a little tighter for me today 🐾🤍
