Breed fulfilment isn’t a “nice extra”… it’s everything.
I brought in a lure coursing machine for a reason...
Because some dogs weren’t built to just walk nicely on a lead and sit for a biscuit.
They were built to CHASE.
And when you give them that outlet properly… everything changes.
Genetically 🧬
You’re switching on what’s already in them.
Lurchers, sighthounds, mixes with chase drive — this is their job description.
Ignore it, and it leaks out in all the wrong places (cars, bikes, joggers… sound familiar?)
Physically 💪
This is full-body, explosive movement.
Sprint. Turn. Acceleration.
You will not replicate this with a ball throw or a walk round the block.
It builds muscle, burns energy, and actually satisfies them.
Mentally 🧠
This is the big one people miss.
Chasing = dopamine.
Dopamine = fulfilled, calmer, more content dogs.
Not “tired”…
fulfilled.
And a fulfilled dog?
Much easier to live with.
And for you, the owner 👀
• You stop fighting your dog’s instincts
• You understand your dog on a deeper level
• You get better engagement in training
• You build a relationship based on working with them, not against them
And honestly?
Watching your dog do exactly what they were bred to do…
It hits different.
I didn’t get a lure coursing machine because it looks cool.
I got it because this is what some dogs NEED.
Not more obedience.
Not more control.
More fulfilment.
If you’ve got a dog that’s constantly “on edge”, overexcited, or obsessed with movement…
It might not be a training issue.
It might be a missing outlet.
