Hi everyone, it’s Charlotte here, ray and Anne’s daughter and Rio’s big sister. I’ve been given access to this page for this one post and I’m grateful for it.
3 years ago in January, my dad showed me a picture of Rio and I found him cute and then told me that we might have to adopt him from Moorview. When we met him, he had only just been returned back to Moorview. When we took him out, I couldn’t believe how much energy and excitement and love that Rio had and his snorting noise which made him sound like a pig 😂. Little did we know that we would have the most amazing three years ever with this one of a kind dog.
He was my best friend. Whenever I was crying, he would come up to me and lay on me to comfort me. He made me smile/laugh uncontrollably and looked after me as if I had been there since day 1. As you can see from the pictures below, the whole family loved Rio which makes it even harder to say goodbye to him. I would just like to say thank you to Moorview because if they had never rescued Rio from the pound just a few hours from death and made sure he had his forever home for his final years and that’s what we did.
He will forever be my puppy and he has left a massive hole in everyone’s lives who have met him. Unfortunately, I can only do photos on this post but I do have videos on my phone that I will treasure forever.
RIP Rio I love you see you on the other side ❤️
