Nail trims have always been a challenge for Joey, whether at home or the groomers, he just wasn’t a fan 😩

But today was a HUGE win 🙌 With a little patience, positive reinforcement, and a yoghurt distraction from his owner, Joey absolutely smashed it and let me trim every single nail! ✂️🐾

This is what building trust and keeping grooming a positive experience is all about 💕

Meet Presley, a gorgeous 6-year-old Greyhound 🖤
Presley was rescued from Dogs Trust and is now living his absolute best life with his amazing owner 🥰

His owners told me that grooming has been a struggle in the past - busy, loud environments meant Presley wouldn’t even walk through the door 💔

But today was a whole different story!

Being based in a quiet, rural location made all the difference 🐑
Presley was completely relaxed and was an absolute angel, letting me do everything I needed to do 💅🏿

As the year comes to a close, I just want to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to all my wonderful clients for trusting me with your dogs. Every appointment, message, recommendation, like, and share truly means more than you know 🥰🐶

Being able to care for, groom, and get to know your gorgeous dogs is a privilege I never take for granted. Your continued support allows me to do what I love every single day, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you ✂️🐕

I can’t wait to welcome all your furry friends back in the New Year and continue giving them the care they deserve 🐾

Oscar has been coming to Tails in the Vale since early 2024, and every visit with him is such a joy🤍 🧡

Oscar has learned the routine so well that I’m honestly convinced he could run his own little spa day at this point 😂 From hopping straight into the bath to patiently waiting for his blow dry, he knows exactly what to do 🐶🚿

Why, you ask? 🤔💭

Because today was the VERY first time Reggie didn’t hate the hair dryer — in fact, he handled it like an absolute superstar! 🌟

When Reggie first came to Tails in the Vale back in early 2024, the dryer was his sworn enemy. He’d do anything to hide from it! But with patience, trust and lots of gentle encouragement, Reggie can now sit under the dryer completely relaxed and happy.💛
