Meet Waffle! ✨

This handsome Cockapoo has been coming to me since he was just a tiny pup, and now at 1½ years old he’s grown into such a lovely young man 🧡

He absolutely lives for his pamper days, running straight through the gate with plenty of kisses and cwtchs 🥰 Already for his spa session 🛁✂️

You should all know Susie by now 😉 she’s our most pampered Golden Retriever! 🐕💛

Susie loves looking and feeling her very best, that’s why she’s got her spa days booked up for the whole year 🐕🚿

She knows the routine by heart and hops straight into the bath, ready for a good scrub 🛁🧼 and stays perfectly still whilst on the table 🐕🥰

From Puppy Fluff to Dapper Pup! 🐾
Just look at the young man our Ralph has grown into! 🥹✨

Ralph first joined the Tails in the Vale back in October 2024 for his very first puppy groom 🥰! 🛋️💅 He knows the routine so well, I’m convinced he could take over for the day if I handed him the scissors! 😂✂️

Reintroducing Menai! 💛🖤

For those unfamiliar with the name, it's pronounced Men-eye 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿😉

Menai has enjoyed many pamper sessions at Tails in the Vale!🥰 In the beginning, Menai showed a few quirks, but with lots of patience and care, Menai has made incredible progress! 💛🖤

Rosie is a 13-year-old Shih-Tzu 🐕

Rosie and her sister Molly were adopted from Many Tears Rescue over ten years ago — and they’ve been living the dream ever since! Their days are filled with cosy naps, tasty treats, and all the adventures they could ask for 🌳⛱️

When Kuba first joined Tails in the Vale back in May 2024, he was a shy little guy—tail tucked, sticking close to his mum for comfort 😔

But look at him now! 😉

These days, Kuba trots happily through the gate, ready for a scamper up the garden before settling down for his pamper session 🥰

I always follow a consistent grooming routine to help dogs feel safe and relaxed. By keeping each session predictable, they start to recognise the steps and know what’s coming next—making the whole experience calmer and more enjoyable 🧡🐾

Well done, Kuba! You’ve come so far 🥰

Re-introducing Ralph!🖤🤍

Ralph was back in today for the ultimate schnauzer spa day! 💅 He came in as a fluffball and left as the dapper little gent he was born to be! 🐕🥰

Did you know schnauzers were originally bred in Germany as hardworking farm dogs? With their iconic beards and bushy brows, they were top rat-catchers and loyal guardians, now they’re just top-tier cuteness 😂

Say hello to Waffle! 🧡

Would you believe this big fluff ball has only just turned one?! 🫣😂

Waffle is a very large Cockapoo—and living proof that Cockapoos do come in all shapes, sizes, and coat types! 😄

With the warmer weather rolling in, Waffle’s owners opted for a shorter trim, and he’s feeling fresher and lighter now!🌞🧡

Re-introducing Billy 🧡

Billy is a gorgeous 1-year-old Cavapoochon 🥰

He’s always been a sensitive little soul who struggles with separation anxiety 😔 Together with his owners, we came up with a gentle plan🤞 A quick drop-off and some of his favourite treats, and it worked wonders!💪

Billy was so calm and content that he even started dozing off while I was trimming his face 😴 His owners couldn’t believe it, they said he usually hates anyone going near his face. What a superstar you are, Billy! 💫🧡

Mylo is back! 🧡🤍

Now 2 years old, this charming Cavalier King Charles Spaniel 👑 is growing into a real little gentleman!

Though grooming isn’t always his favorite activity, Mylo always leaves Tails in the Vale with a waggy tail and a spring in his step 🐾💛

Cavaliers were once the beloved companions of royalty in the 17th century – often spotted by the side of King Charles II himself! Today, they’re known for their gentle, affectionate nature – just like our Mylo 🐕🧡

Another rare breed alert! 👀

Barnaby, the Spanish Water Dog was booked in today for the full works!🇪🇸

This breed has a long history rooted in rural Spanish life, where they worked as herders and water retrievers. They're incredibly intelligent and full of character!🐕

If left to grow naturally, their unique woolly coat mats together in a controlled way, forming cords rather than tangles. Luckily for me, he gets shaved!🤣
