Will also be closed from Friday 3rd September until Monday 6th September to celebrate our daughter Mollies 16th Birthday. Am really booked up, do not want to let anyone down so please book in

It is with a heavy heart with the new government guidelines i have to close. Unless your dog is severely matted or has a skin complaint and has been referred to from a vet i am not allowed to do them. Any questions how to groom your pooch just ask. Stay safe all of you, hopefully not for too long ###xx

Hi all, hope you are all well and your pooches have not suffered to much in the heatwave. My George really suffered which was worrying but Tuppence was ok. Just to let you know i will be closed from 25th August until friday 4th September. This is due to my daughters 15th Birthday and my younger daughters first year at senior School. Hectic to say the least. Please keep safe ###

Hi everyone i hope you are all safe and well and your poochies are enjoying their time with you. I am hopefully looking at opening next week, probably mid week. Georges has had a refurb and is nearly finished.
There are going to be restrictions which i will send to you all. And at the moment it will be one dog a day due to the fact after each groom Georges has to be thoroughly sterilised. If you have two dogs that is not a problem they can come together as usual as they are from the same home. Unfortunately i do not have a card machine so it will be cash only and correct money as i will not be giving change. Not sure yet if i will ask it to be in an envelope or put in a tin.
I am going to go through appointment book and arrange appointments fairly, ie regulars and when they should have had their groom.

Hi all, i hope you are all well and staying safe.
Unfortunately due to Government guidelines i am still closed.
My Friend Hayley who owns Shampoochies spoke to the Council today and they have said we are not to open. We are not classed as essential and if we do open we will be immediately closed and fined.
I know some Groomers are starting to open but they must put into practice the following-

Keep 2 metres apart from other people

Wear full PPE- gloves,masks,aprons and visors which must be changed after each dog

Only one dog in the salon at a time

Dog to be sprayed with dog safe Disinfectant once handed to groomer before being bathed

After each groom salon needs to be deep cleaned, and so does Groomer after each groom

Dog must be walked to Salon as not essential travel in car.

For as much as i would love to be open i cannot and will not put any of you my customers at risk or myself and my family.
It would be very stressful for myself and your poochies, which is not fair on them.
These are horrible times and i look forward to seeing you all when it is safe.
I have put some videos on for tips on bathing, trimming round eyes cutting out matts etc, never realised i had a one tone voice so try not to laugh.
Some of you have groomed your dogs and have done a good job, though most have not had feet done so they all look like they are wearing ugg boots lol

Please keep yourself safe and hopefully now we are the peak there is light at the end of the tunnel
